about the job
You will be reporting to the President of the company and will be managing a team of 17 headcounts. As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving sales growth across multiple channels. Your role will encompass strategic planing, team management, and fostering strong relationships with customer, all while ensuring the achievement of sales targets and revenue objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimise sales in modern trade, general trade, food service channels
- Continuously analyse market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to adapt strategies
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 17 sales professionals
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key accounts and distributors.
- Develop and manage the sales budget, monitoring performance against targets.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 5-8 years in the FMCG industry within a sales function
- Prefreably 3 years of experience in a leadership role or managing people
- Proficiency in both English and Malay
- Willing to work in Rawang, Malaysia
