About the Company

Randstad is currently partnering with one of the largest institution in the Insurance domain and progressively ramping-up for the following roles to complete their IT Shared Service Centre located in Kuala Lumpur

About the role:

  • This is a management role which has 7 FTEs reporting into the organisation with a geographical footprint in Malaysia and deliverables for other countries in the region


  • The Head of workplace product engineering is accountable for all new delivered and existing infrastructure in scope which is hosted in the Regional Data Center or the local hubs/server rooms
  • Defines and ensures KPIs related to the managed Platforms
  • Responsible to deliver and contribute to Major incidents resolutions in collaboration with contributing teams and third parties within SLA
  • Guarantees and operates Level 3 Support for all technology platforms responsible.
  • Ensures all other Incidents impacting the provided services are resolved within SLA
  • Ensures Problem Management function within the area of responsibilities and contributes/provides the required RCA
  • Empowers the team to achieve a shift left by cascading relevant knowledge to 2nd and 1st level support teams
  • Manages and ensures operational governance for the provides services of third parties
  • Defines and implements service improvement plans for the accountable technology platforms
  • Accountable to ensure that the Level 1 and Level 2 technology platform support is provided within the defined KPIs and commercial targets from any contributing third party
  • Build/ Project Delivery
  • Manages client demands, their associated technical and commercial scoping for non-standard work requests (NSWR) and small client demands
  • Contributes to local, regional and global audits as required

  • Symantec endpoint protection
  • Microsoft O365 (Exchange OL, Sharepoint OL, Skype, OneDrive, Teams, Yammer, PowerBi…)
  • Airwatch
  • Exchange 2007, Ironport
