Our client is one of the world's top general insurance company based in Petaling Jaya. Right now, they are looking for a HR Business Partner to join their family.

about the role

This is a HR Business Partner position that reports to the Head of HR. This role is to manage the delivery of HR business partnering service to business units on a strategic level and ensure that all staff-related issues, processes, and initiatives are appropriately managed and that business-related intelligence is gained and respond effectively.


  • Develop and embed a consistent HR Business partnership strategy and model to the best partnership with the business
  • Drive and support the alignment of all HR-related processes, policies, and procedures with the business and best practice
  • Monitor industry market trends and provide recommendations for change/improvement to internal ways of working accordingly to best anticipate and respond to changes
  • Provide expert and technical advice and guidance to the business and to the wider HR team to ensure HR services are cost-efficient, effective and compliant with best practice/legislation and regulatory standards
  • Develop a learning culture in HR to share and develop skills and capability in people management, organizational design, and appropriate culture development

skills & experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional HR experience
  • Experience in the insurance sector
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
