Our client is a global MNC with strong presence across Malaysia. This role is for their expanding shared services.


about the job

  • Lead and support the setup activities of a HR Shared Service which includes the following:
  • Transition activities across APAC ensuring compliance to standardized processes as well as statutory regulations.
  • Support the definition HR Service Level Agreement (SLA) - Implement and support HR Shared Services supporting tools and technologies - Define strategies to support hiring plan for HR Shared Service setup
  • Manage relevant stakeholders during the setup and transition period
  • Manage and monitor HR operations and deliver services in a timely and accurate manner according to the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure service delivery is in accordance with and adhering to all compliance and audit requirements.
  • Comply with data integrity, security and privacy policies and applicable regulations.
  • Keep abreast of relevant data protection and privacy regulations/legislation and work closely with the Center of Excellence (CoE) to understand the impacts of the regulation/legislation changes to HR operations.
  • Lead and work closely with HR Business Partners in data review exercises on a regular

skills and experience

  • Minimum 7 of experience in HR Management with minimum three years in a lead or managing position.
  • Excellent project coordination and delivery experience is essential to manage the continuous improvement projects with the other teams within the shared service center.
  • Experience with evaluating HR-related technologies and systems for process improvements
  • Knowledge in HR and reporting systems to perform relevant data management and reporting activities. Knowledge of usage of cloud HR solutions would be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills in Japanese, both written and spoken, are essential. Additional languages a plus.
