about the job
- Industrial Relations & Employee Relations: Develop and implement strategies to foster a positive employee relations culture. Resolve conflicts between employees and management in a timely and professional manner. Work closely with the management team to ensure that the company's HR policies and practices are consistent with industrial relations legislation.
- Recruitment of Local & Foreign Workers: Manage the recruitment process from job posting, screening, interviewing, and selection to ensure the hiring of the best talents. Develop effective sourcing strategies and build a strong talent pipeline for the company. Liaise with recruitment agencies, immigration authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth recruitment of local and foreign workers.
- Payroll HR System: Manage the company's payroll system, including ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and benefits to all employees. Maintain the HR information system, ensuring that it is up to date and accurate. Ensure that all payroll-related activities are in compliance with relevant legislation.
- Training & Development: Develop and implement training and development programs to improve employee skills and knowledge. Identify training needs, develop training materials, and deliver training programs. Develop and implement career development plans for employees to support their career growth and retention.
- Administrative Tasks: Ensure that all HR administrative tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner, including maintenance of personnel files, attendance records, and leave records. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable labor laws and regulations.
- Improvement of Existing Policies: Review and analyze existing HR policies and procedures and develop new policies and procedures where necessary. Ensure that all policies and procedures are up to date, compliant with labor laws and regulations, and aligned with the company's objectives.
- Staff Performance (KPI): Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure employee performance. Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors in setting performance goals for their teams. Monitor and report on employee performance against set KPIs.
- Provide guidance and advice to the management team on reward and remuneration issues, including salary reviews, bonuses, and benefits. Ensure that the company's remuneration policies are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Develop and implement disciplinary policies and procedures in line with labor laws and regulations. Conduct investigations and disciplinary meetings where necessary. Ensure that all disciplinary actions are fair, consistent, and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
about the manager/team
You will report directly to the Managing Director in overseeing operations of the company and the work of executives. You will receive exposure to drive HR initiatives and work with various stakeholders.
skills & experience required
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in HR management.
- Knowledge of local and international labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
