Develop systems, policies & procedures, oversee, drive and coordinate HR & Administrative functions in the following aspects such as Employment/Recruitment & Selection, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, Training & Skills Development, Staff Welfare, Security Functions, Safety & Health, Office Administration and other employee services.
Principal Duties
- Analyses wage and salary reports and data to ensure the Company is internally and externally market equitable in order to determine competitive compensation plans.
- Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions through consulting legal counsel and Government Officials to ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance with the local Employment Law and requirements.
- Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Administer performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization.
- Administer salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within the organization.
- Administer benefits programs such as Group Personal Accident and Group Hospitalisation & Surgical insurance, leave administration and employee assistance.
- Conduct salary surveys through networking or published salary surveys from Consultants or Associations within the labor market and manufacturing industries to determine competitive wage rate.
- Contract with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as temporary staff, contract workers, foreign workers, search firms, or employee transportation/accommodation or security services.
- Handling of expats Visa or Work Permit Application from Immigration/Home Ministry.
- Perform reports and data analysis to implement cost control strategies for Printing & Stationery, Telephone Expenses, Medical Expenses, Photocopier Usage, Employee Transportation Cost, Overtime etc.
Job Description
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude and understanding towards Company's goals and for ease of adapting to the Company culture.
- Co-ordinate the Company‘s manpower planning process and to ensure compliance with this plan.
- Managing the recruitment & selection process including conducting interviews. Implement plans for recruitment and transfer of staff.
- Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
- Handle employee disputes with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Instills discipline and develops attitudes that encourage productivity, dedication and innovation.
- Continually train and motivate subordinates.
- Identify training needs for career planning and development.
- Support corporate duties and roll-out of HR programs as and when assigned.

skills & experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma or MBA
- Manufacturing background is preferred
- Minimum of 10 years in relevant experience
