job description

As the Manager for Malaysia and Singapore, you will be responsible of all the aspects of Staff
Management in both countries.
You will report directly to GM of Malaysia and Singapore


about the job

  • Lead and direct the Human Resources Team and processes to deliver a comprehensive HR
  • service to support the business
  • Manage a secure HRIS (Database & system) and notably implement a new HR system in
  • Singapore (Payroll & Leave Management)
  • Taking overall responsibility for all recruitment activity and campaigns in order to deliver the
  • right level of EBITDA on a lab by lab basis but also ensuring that the candidates have the correct
  • skill set for the role
  • Managing the Arrivals & Departures procedure (and, if any, adapting the current rules)
  • Ensuring complete processing of payroll for the staff and liaise with Finance Team
  • Employee Relations effectively managing absence, disciplinary, grievances and sickness
  • Ensure that all policies and procedures are up to date and in line with current legislation. Ensure
  • all Line Managers are up to date with these new changes
  • Provide guidance on development of managers and their respective teams
  • Manage staff costs to keep them under control in the P&L
  • Produce, report and monitor the main HR KPIs (Staff costs, FTE, Overtime, Attrition rate, sickness
  • rate, Productivity, etc.)
  • Manage the salary review &people review processes
  • Manage talent and succession planning for the whole of Region and implement the training and
  • development agenda; identify areas which require attention and improvement

Requirements

  • Be used to handle HR KPIs such as Attrition Rate, Sickness rate, etc.
  • Knowledge of Salary review processes
  • Experience in the implementation / migration of new HR system (Payroll & Leave management)
  • Knowledge of Malaysian and Singapore HR rules including Payroll (EPF / CPF)
  • Solution solving oriented and leadership skills
