about the job

  • Responsible for full cycle of payroll processing such as data preparation, payroll calculation, payroll reconciliation, payroll accounting, payroll reports and statutory filing.
  • Process related statutory payment reports and ensure compliance with legislation.
  • Responsible for the HR day to day operation, compensation and benefits administration, management of e-leave system, time & attendance system, on-line payslips & etc.
  • Monitor and upkeep of employee personal records to ensure all information are updated and documented accurately.
  • Act as the key liaison to support the employees with their enquires related to payroll, HR policies and compensation & benefits.
  • To keep abreast with regulatory requirements and changes in market practices, emerging trends and best practices on compensation and benefits.
  • Liaise with Third Party Administrator (TPA) and Insurance Brokers to update staff movement registration of new staff, leavers, claims and cancellation in accordance with our Company's policies & procedures. Process and send claims to TPA and Insurance Brokers. Follow up on the claims and invoices status.
  • Conduct market survey, review and make recommendations when comes to policies renewal.
  • To assist on preparation and review of yearly or ad-hoc budget; and meeting the deadlines, implementation and compliance with legal requirement.
  • Assist in managing full cycle of performance management activities which involve but not limited to communication; distribution and compilation of appraisal forms and finalization of performance rating and etc.
  • To assist Manager in conducting Training Need Analysis and Annual Training plan.
  • To assist on training programs, training budget planning and monitor the implementation of trainings programmes.
  • Manage HRDF claims, fund management records and documents.
  • To assist other HR activities such as Recruitment, Staff Grievances, Employees & Industrial Relations, Safety and others whenever required.
  • To perform other general tasks and assignments given by the Superior and Management from time to time

Requirement

  • At least 3-5 years of working experience in HR, specializing in payroll and benefits field preferably in manufacturing industry.
  • Strong payroll knowledge and exposed to basic knowledge of HR policies, employment regulations & legislation and best practices.
  • Able to deliver the scope of services independently and effectively, responsible and able to meet challenging timelines.
  • Strong analytical skills and numeracy skills - reconciliation and statistics.
  • Required skills: Proficient with in-house payroll system & MS Office (especially Excel)
