about the job

Reporting to the Head of HR, the incumbent will be expected to ensure to oversee the full HR spectrum. Manage overall HR functions covering policy and procedures, recruitment and selection, talent management/ development, compensation and benefits, employees’ relations etc. Involve actively with individual departments/ sections within the Company and to act as an effective business partner operationally and strategically.

Some of the incumbent's key accountabilities include:

  • Recruitment and Selection: Review manpower plan and strategies in accordance to the business needs, goals and manage timely recruitment to support the Company’s operations;
  • Talent Management: Develop retention and succession strategies in order to sustain Company’s expansion as well as to ensure continuity of critical grades & function;
  • Talent Development: Coordinate effective Training Plan for all employees in ensuring adequacy of job skills, knowledge and career growth;
  • Compensation & Benefits (C&B): Ensure the C&B scheme offered to employees are competitive to market as well as aligning with Company’s pay structure & budget;
  • Employees’ Retentions: Foster closer working relationship, encourage employee communications, handle staff counselling, grievance and take disciplinary actions;
  • External Liaison: Manage/liaise and building rapport with all relevant external parties including but not limited to regulatory bodies, agencies, associations, organizations etc.;
  • Other General HR functions: Handle periodical reports writing, identify and recommend enhancements of HR operations and practices contributing to effectiveness of the Company’s business.

skills & experience required

  • Degree/ Diploma with minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in HR with some time spent in a managerial or equivalent capacity.
  • Experience in managing, implementing and administering various HR initiatives particularly in HRBP skills including stakeholders’ management.
  • Analytical with good problem-solving skills and conversant with various employment/ industrial related legislations.
  • Good interpersonal skills with fluency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
