As an HVAC Project Manager, you'll hold a crucial position in our organization, overseeing and orchestrating the successful execution of HVAC projects. - You will be creating detailed mechanical system designs and estimating associated construction budget costs during the programming and conceptual design phases, particularly for large and intricate projects.
- You will be scrutinizing the mechanical system designs produced by other team members to ensure they align with specified client requirements and contractual agreements.
- Thoroughly assess all mechanical tender documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- You will be enforcing the use of design checklists and monitoring project progress to maintain quality standards.
- You will be arranging internal design reviews with the support of the Head of Department (HOD) to assess project developments.
- You will be serving as the representative of the Mechanical Team during monthly client meetings to report on project progress
- You will be compiling lessons learned from project experiences and providing briefings to the HOD. Formulating recovery plans related to design, cost, and schedule when necessary.
- You will be guiding and mentoring Engineers with the aim of ensuring the company's ongoing growth by training capable personnel.
job requirement
- Possess more than 4 years of prior experience in the HVAC and/or Data Center industry or a related field.
- Have a history of successfully managing technical teams in the HVAC or a similar field.
- Ability to develop and implement budgets effectively.
- Responsible for chairing team meetings and facilitating the review of deliverables.
- Possess the capacity to develop sales strategies and execute margin improvement strategies.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of HVAC/Chiller systems.
- Familiarity with standard HVAC and chiller maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Proficiency in using tools, common appliances, and devices.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Software (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Possess knowledge of AutoCAD software, which is considered an advantage.
- Exhibit proactivity, strong networking capabilities, and exceptional relationship management skills.
- Able to prioritise tasks effectively, thrive under pressure, and collaborate seamlessly within a team.
- Possess excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, planning, and presentation skills.
- Be open to travel and possess personal transportation with a valid driver's license
