As an HVAC Service Technician, you'll be the expert in installing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems, from cooling towers to thermostats and everything in between. Your key responsibilities include conducting inspections, proactively preventing issues, and diagnosing system malfunctions. You'll use your skills to fix or replace components, ensuring optimal airflow and system performance. You will work closely with our clients, sales teams, and product development experts to deliver tailored HVAC services that meet our customers' unique needs.
- You will be the expertise in installing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems, encompassing chiller systems, air conditioners, AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, low voltage components, ductless mini-splits, thermostats, control systems, dehumidifiers, cold storage rooms, freezers, and exhaust fans.
- You will perform scheduled inspections and proactively engage in preventive maintenance to detect and resolve potential issues before they escalate into significant problems.
- You will utilize diagnostic skills to pinpoint the underlying causes of HVAC system malfunctions and recommend appropriate solutions for effective resolution.
- You will effectively repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, motors, fans, and electrical wiring to reinstate the full functionality of HVAC systems.
- You will carry out installation, repair, and maintenance tasks related to ductwork, vents, and various system components as required to ensure optimal airflow and system performance.
- You will strictly comply with safety standards and regulations throughout all job responsibilities, including the safe handling of equipment and materials.
- You will engage with clients in a professional manner, providing clear explanations of repair or maintenance procedures, and offering valuable recommendations for system enhancements or supporting the project team in conducting testing and commissioning procedures for new projects prior to client handover.

job requirements
- Possess HVAC/ M&E certification or license as required by local rules.
- Have 2 years and above prior experience in the HVAC industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, their components, and adeptness in troubleshooting methods.
- Be good at reading and understanding technical manuals and diagrams.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be proficient in both written and verbal English, as well as Bahasa Malaysia.
- Be open to travel and possess personal transportation with a valid driver's license.Having a Goods Driving License is an advantage.
