About The Role

You will be responsible for providing guidance to business when it comes to advising and interpreting policies and controls related to promoting Banking Products. The employer is looking for a Sales Driven Professional that possess excellent communication, strong leadership qualities and people's skill to support the strategic expansion business mainly focused in Banking Products. You will be reporting straight to Head of Department.


1. Identify Financial Goal and KYC

Joint sales appointment with Relationship Manager (RMs) / Personal Bankers (PBs) to be properly briefed on customers’ background and formally introduced to the customers
To then establish customers’ needs for Wealth related advise, products and services based on background and conversation with customers

2. Analyze and Evaluate Client’s financial objective

Focus on the insurance/financial goal/need which client need from the perspective of :
Wealth Protection / Wealth Maintenance / Wealth Accumulation / Wealth Enhancement
Wealth Distribution
Wealth Diversification

3. Develop Recommendation

Provide relevant options/ alternatives to meet the client’s insurance/financial objectives

4. Implement Recommendations

Implement recommendation based on client’s instructions and needs
Ensure prompt actions are taken on the proposal processing

5. Coaching and plan training activities for RMs/PBs

Ensure constant product refresher activities for RMs/PBs
Maintain confidence level in closing Wealth products propositions

Skills & Experience

  • At least a Diploma Holder in any field.
  • Minimum 3 year(s) of working experience selling Banca products /Life Insurance
  • Preferably Senior Executives/Manager specializing in Sales - Financial Services (Insurance, Unit Trust, etc) or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing/coaching sales team to maximize team performance.
  • Sales driven with proven track record of sales achievements.

** Each Insurance Advisor/ Retail Bancassurance Manager will handhold minimum 10 bank staffs ( Personal Bankers/ Relationship Manager) and will be based at the Branch.
