about the job
- Design, develop and optimise high performance iOS mobile applications that meets the industry and business standards
- Lead the end-to-end development of products within the iOS application that align with the business goals
- Write high performance and scalable code that is easily maintained, efficient and is up to the standard coding practices
- Lead and conduct code reviews that optimise the mobile application to ensure high quality and functionality
- Work with cross-functional teams of developers, designers and product managers to define and conceptualise the end product as well as align on the timeline and requirements of deliverables
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting and debugging of application with the team to ensure high quality user experience
- Research, evaluate and implement the latest technology trends and tools within the current mobile development environment
- Actively participate and provide constructive input on improvement with existing processes, methodology and product within the technology space
- Mentor and guide junior developers about mobile development, while elevating their skill set and contribution within the team
must have requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an iOS Developer
- Strong knowledge and 5 years or more experience using Swift and Objective-c professionally
- Experienced in using RESTful API for mobile development
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Experience leading a development team
- Possesses excellent communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant fields with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
nice to have requirements
- Experienced with Android and Web development and the respective development technologies
- Experienced integration mobile apps to IoT devices and sensors
- Familiar with Agile methodology
