Over the recent years, their group has successfully introduced several digital innovations in partnership with recognized Financial Institutions and Telecommunication companies throughout the area. A few examples of these digital advancements encompass Payment Gateways and API Gateways, Blockchain integration, and the utilization of ASEAN QR Codes. about the job
The work involve working on a green field Java engine that's built from scratch. The Senior engineer will be paired a Junior engineer for mentoring and in turn will be mentored by the principal, architect. Their technology deployment is fully automated via GitHub actions / Jenkins and AWS CDK. Majority of the work involves writing code that does the following:

perform XML manipulation
generate Kotlin code
writing react based UI
hacking away Javascripts
low level serialisation protocols (ProtoBuf, FlatBuffer)
some TCP/IP adapter work (esp for node to node and cluster management)
in memory processing (Off Heap and On Heap)
file IO optimisation
working with JVM byte level transformation
automated secure code scans
Occasionally there will be some mini POC and R&D task that will tax your engineering creativity.

prerequisites:

must have min 2 years of experience in Java or Kotlin
2 years in some other tech stack like TypeScript, Node or Golang experience
Must have a curious mind and willing to pick up new tech stack
Exposure to AWS (Cloud, i.e. know what a EC2, ELB, Route53 are…etc) and willing to pick up CDK as the IaaS code. Postman (for writing automated test)
some Microsoft Power point skills
some TCP / UDP knowledge

good to have:

wire protocol knowledge (Http, Protobuf, FlatBuffer)
understanding of Non Blocking IO and designs around building async processes
