about the job
- providing IT-oriented insights for both business-as-usual (BAU) operations and new projects.
- collaborating with fellow team members, users, and IT partners on product-related initiatives and projects.
- aiding the IT team in delivering Level 2 (L2) and Level 3 (L3) support for project-related challenges and change requests (CRs).
- engaging in business discussions with users to offer technical resolutions and expertise.
- crafting technical documentation as needed and appropriate.
- supervising development projects to ensure quality and desired outcomes.
- addressing application bugs and enhancing performance.
- assisting the sales team in presales activities and presentation efforts.
knowledge, skills and experience
- possess a bachelor's degree, postgraduate diploma, or a professional degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent field.
- previous engagement within the Telco industry.
- a proven track record with a minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in software development and design.
- proficient skills in C/C++, MySQL, Linux, and Unix.
- familiarity with the eTOM framework, VOIP, SS7, and E1 technology would be advantageous.
- comprehensive understanding of agile and scrum methodologies.
- acquaintance with system integration and backend system development within legacy systems.
- thorough knowledge in multi-threading concurrency processing.
- good command of English both written and spoken
- effective communication aptitude to facilitate collaborative work coordination.
