About the company

We are looking for a Key Account Manager who specialised in patient monitoring for one of the USA base medical device company with their presence in Malaysia.

  • involved in business development to identify any business opportunities and grow the sales of the product portfolio towards health care professional as solution seller.
  • To ensure that accurate product and timely series are provided to the customer in a timely manner
  • Serving at the bridge between the key customer and internal teams while resolving any issues face by the customer to build and maintain trust
  • Preparation of progress reports and forecasting to be presented to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to explain in detail in regards of the product in term of functionality and benefit to both patient and hospital economically.
  • Achieving and exceeding the sales target and budgets which was allocated within the assigned territories
  • Be the local expert to the Commercial Leader, Sales Manager, distributors, and customers for assigned product lines
  • Work hand in hand with the regional specialist to improve product knowledge as well as the competency of the local team on certain products which includes product demonstrations, sales training support as well as Clinical Seminars/Symposium organization and execution.
  • Provide market intelligence report to the regional marketing department gathered during customer visits.
  • Working hand in hand with Regulatory Affairs team to ensure that all product are up to date to the local compliance regulation.
  • Provide, support and offer product demonstration, clinical know-how and applications on various fields of operations business partners and end-users
  • Organize launches of new products, conduct demos and participate in international tradeshows to gather competitive information as well as keeping abreast of new technologies
  • Work closely with internal members including participation in projects, tenders together.


  • Minimum Bachelors in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of demonstrated success in Sales & Marketing role in medical device industry
  • Experience in key account management will be a significant advantage
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Broad-based knowledge in business management, sales and marketing
  • Possess high resilience and strong capability in planning, analysis, decision making and organizational sensitivity
  • Working knowledge on the P/L and Balance Sheet, knowledge of customers, markets and competitors, branding, product line management, new product launch, product improvement and execution of a marketing plan for major product category
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Ability to work with MNCs and culturally adapt as necessary
