about the job
- Supports lead machinery engineer in developing and delivering machinery engineering execution strategies with the job team, consistently meeting project commitments in terms of man-hours, cost, schedule, quality, and performance. Accountable for flawless execution in the project.
- Supports machinery team leader in maintaining flawless execution throughout ongoing projects from preEFFD, PDP, BED, DED, and commissioning phases.
- Leads engineering details of rotating machines and auxiliaries in the process gas field, such as compressors, steam turbines, process pumps, and other special rotating equipment.
- Handle machinery engineering works during commissioning and startup phases.
- Provides technical support during fabrication and installation phases for under-execution projects.
- Leads all machinery activities during commissioning phases, coordinating with the project, EPC company, operation, and construction teams, resolving problems during engineering stages.
- Leads technical investigations, analysis, and troubleshooting, clarifying engineering and technical issues with vendors to meet project-specific requirements.
- Provides sound judgment and suggestions for critical technical decision-making in time.
skills & experience required
- Bachelor Degree in Machinery or Mechanical Engineering related majors with
- At least 10 years of engineering experience in compressor, steam turbine, blower, pump etc. for Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical industries
- EPC company experience as machinery engineer
- Basic knowledge on pressure vessel, process, piping, electrical, control and instrumentation engineering
