about the job
- Leading the piping design functional activities on capital projects including layout and piping design.
- Providing bidding support for proposal management team on layout development and piping design related estimates.
- Planning, coaching, and supervising LDI to perform basic and detail piping design to meet safety and technical requirements.
- Evaluating technical judgment with related to piping and layout design during project execution and permitting stage.
- Capable of resolving and escalated issues arising from project execution, procurement, and operations.
- Managing project engineering and design interfaces in complex projects as project engineering manager if necessary.
skills & experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in engineering and design
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of local and international design standards and codes
- Demonstrates a strong track record in managing piping and/or cross-functional activities within process plants
- Has experience in Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC), with a background in Industrial Gases/ Petrochemical/Power Plant projects
