As the successful candidate, you should/will
- Assess, draft, and negotiate contracts associated with merchant acquisition and the services linked to merchants (e.g. payment channels, SaaS services, merchant payment services)
- Aid in the management of contracts, which involves maintaining organised contract files, monitoring contract deadlines, and ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions
- Collaborate with internal teams, including business development, marketing, operations, risk management, funds management, and finance, to guarantee that contracts align with the company's objectives and policies
- Conduct legal research and offer legal and regulatory guidance on various matters related to acquiring and merchant services, as well as contract-related issues
- Assist in legal-tech initiatives, including creating standardised documents for automation and contributing to a database of regulatory knowledge
