about the company

Randstad is partnering with a U.K based MNC organization that specializes in providing solutions for rainwater management in building projects. The company is the fastest growing company in siphonic system. They are expanding their team currently and they are looking for logistis controller as part of their strategic plans.

about the job

Responsible for the day to day logistics operations (inventory planning, procurement, warehousing and distribution) for the Company and it’s associated companies. Responsible to ensure prompt fulfilment of Requisition and Sales Order for maximum customer satisfaction. Responsible to learn and roll-out ERP Systems as scheduled, and provide training to Supply Chain Users, and maintenance of ERP Master File (Item/Vendor/Price) and Date integrity.

  • Inventory Planning – Analysis of inventory status versus requirement, determine replenishment level and work with Operations on forecasted requisition.
  • Procurement – Identify and develop suppliers, negotiate for best pricing and delivery schedule, management of supplier performance and procurement analysis.
  • Warehouse management – Inventory data integrity and physical stock availability, Sales Order and requisition fulfilment, PO receipt and put away, Cycle counting and annual stock-take, Setup and maintenance of warehouse location Bin Code.
  • Logistics Management – Timely delivery of requisition and sales order, understand and maximise Customs Preferential Tariff, negotiate for best freight costs and delivery arrangement, management of logistics service provider’s performance.
  • Reporting and documentation – Monthly reporting of inventory status and performance, prompt update and maintenance of related SOPs, report of any irregularities and take necessary corrective/preventative actions.

about the manager/team
You will be reporting to the group supply chain manager you is based in Singapore and dotted report to the Malaysia General Manager. Your team compose of 4 matured and vibrant team. The team operated in a independent manner.


  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics/Transportation or equivalent
  • 8 years working experience in supply chain or logistics roles
  • Good communication skill in English. Able to read/write Chinese will be an added advantage to communicate with Chinese clients/ Suppliers
  • Systems skills in ERP and Microsoft applicatio
