This role requires candidates with a strong understanding of both IT Security Operations and Information Security. You will take the helm of the security team and drive internal security initiatives while enhancing existing processes with the help of like minded individuals.
- Manage and administer the corporate network covering the following key components:
- ISP connections, LAN, Network switches and Wifi Access Point, maintain firewalls, virtual private networks, web protocols, and email security
- Maintain Security for all hardware included switches and servers
- Monitor network usage to ensure compliance with security policies.
- Manage and maintain end point security for Antivirus and EDR solution
- Work with Security Operations Centre (SOC)
- Investigate intrusion and hacking incidents, collect incident responses, and carry out forensic investigations.
- Evaluate cyber security trends, update security patches, attend to security incidents
- Manage Data centre environmental and monitor IT equipment to ensure security compliance and free with security threat
- Manage company’s cloud environment (AWS, Azure) in accordance with company security guidelines.
- Manage infrastructure related system access (eg. AD account, Firewall access) to ensure access validity
- Manage yearly Penetration Test which conducted by security vendor
- Implement and manage network and data security governance and SOP
- Create cyber security awareness to all IT users
about the manager/team
- This role reports to the CIO of the company who comes from a strong background across various indistries.
- Candidate will lead the IT Security function with multiple team members under their leadership.
skills and experience required
- At least 5 years of full-time work experience in IT or Information Security
- Expertise across a variety of security products including firewalls, URL filtering, information security and virus protection
- Knowledge in Network infrastructure management.
- Knowledge in Security segments, Firewall, Antivirus, VPN, Email security and etc
- Understanding and governance of security policies and best practices
- Having technical IT certifications such AWS/Azure/GCP certification or VMware Certification would be added advantage.
