Reporting to the Head of Marketing.
Managing a team of 2 (1 x Senior Product Manager and 1 x Assistant Product Manager)
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the brand to develop and execute long/short term plans to grow the product portfolio in terms of its brand awareness, market share improvement, product profitability and meeting sales targets
- Develop and direct the implementation of brand strategies, plans for existing and new products, lead and execute marketing campaigns, new launches/relaunches, regular trade activation, promotions, sales forecast. budgets and programs and ensure its effective and timely implementation to achieve brand objectives
- Manage activation and its experiences, including promotional activities, campaigns, the concepts, assets, creative, content proposals, multimedia campaigns, social media
- Build strategic partnerships with media, creative, public relations and consume research agencies to ensure impactful, innovative and cost effective campaigns and activities
- Initiate market research to develop strong consumer insights and keep track of competitor's activities and market trends
- Influence NPD pipeline and new product launch timings by determining and evaluating current and future market trends
skills and experience required
- Minimum 10 years of brand/product management experience within the FMCG industry
- Proven track record of launching successful campaigns; building brands; and gaining sustainable market share
- Experienced in leading a team
- Proactive, resourceful and strong communication
