About the Role:
... - Lead and manage the M&E quantity surveying team to ensure effective cost management and project delivery.
- Oversee pre- and post-contract activities, including cost estimation, tendering, and final account preparation.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Review and approve procurement plans for M&E materials and equipment.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, and construction teams to address project requirements.
- Resolve contractual issues, including variation orders, claims, and extensions of time (EOT).
- Maintain systematic records of all contractual correspondence and project documentation.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
About the Team:
The successful candidate will be reporting to the General Manager and managing a team of Quantity Surveyors.
Skills & Experience Required:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in M&E quantity surveying.
- Strong expertise in cost estimation, tender preparation, and contract administration.
- Good knowledge of M&E systems and construction methodologies.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
