About the Company

My client is one of Malaysia’s most formidable property developers, with a multitude of established businesses. Due to a major increase in business, the company is looking to recruit an experienced M&E Manager to oversee a huge (3 x 60 story + high rise) development. This role is based 6 days per week at their KLCC site office and is closely overseeing the Main Contractor.

About the role

The main duties will include but will not be limited to

  • Supervision of Design.
  • Identify key design and delivery issues or risks.
  • Management of the M&E Subcontractors.
  • Carry out the full coordination of M&E Services.
  • Plan a key role in growing the company's Main Con division.
  • Assist in preparing cost data for proposals and contract negotiations.
  • Participates in developing and presenting training classes on designated subjects and on-the job training programs.
  • Prepare specific budgets in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures.
  • Assist in developing and implementing requirements for cost recording, reporting and analysing standards, programs and reports.

Skills & responsibilities

  • The ability to speak a Chinese dialect is highly beneficial for this position.
  • Previous experience of dealing with clients and subcontractors from mainland China.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience required as a Manager or Assistant Manager.
