Responsibilities:
... - Conduct in-depth analysis of various data types related to merchants, transactions, users, and more to identify risk characteristics.
- Contribute to the development of a comprehensive merchant risk profile, including the design of a merchant risk quantification strategy for account takeovers, fraud, gambling, promotion abuse, arbitrage, and other risk factors.
- Develop data-driven strategies to support business risk decision-making and facilitate the healthy, compliant, and sustainable development of our international business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including algorithms, policies, products, technology, and operations, to enhance an AI-based merchant quantitative risk management platform and create innovative merchant security solutions and service products.
- Assist the risk management team with departmental initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, management science, computer science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in big data analysis and data mining, with a preference for candidates who have experience in banks, third-party payment institutions, card providers, or internet companies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply data-driven methods effectively.
- Collaborative and inquisitive mindset, with a willingness to work with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin to facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
