about the job

You will be reporting into the O2C Process Leader for the newly set up shared services, to develop, lead, migrate and motivate teams of professionals in delivering an efficient O2C process covering order/invoice management, credit management, revenue and accounts receivables management.

  • Assist the O2C Process Leader in migration of all O2C activities into the newly set up shared services, global stakeholder management, standardizing and reviewing all O2C processes and system implementation requirements.
  • Managing a team of O2C professionals of 10-14 staff.
  • Manage customer credit - review customer credit limits and analyse customer credit, instalment plan, deposit
  • Billing management - approve monthly billing and review reconciliations.
  • Collections - review collection file and review monthly posting of accounts receivables receipts and discrepancies
  • AR management - review accounts receivables reconciliations & identify adjustments, check profit system interfaces to SAP and issues tracking & resolution
  • Support and conduct training needs and content development for existing and new staff
  • Conduct job-shadowing and assessment of new employees to ensure that they are proficient in their area of work
  • Periodically review response time of activities conducted by staff to determine if additional training sessions are required
  • Manage resourcing and deployment within process tower, with KPI monitoring.
  • Raise issues, escalate performance problems, review resolution actions and address business concerns
  • Point of contact for reporting, internal and external audit matters relating to O2C activities

skills and experience required

As the O2C Manager, you should possess:

  • A Degree in Finance/Accountancy or Chartered/Certified Accountanting qualification.
  • At lest 8 years of relevant working experience in an established finance shared services, with setting up experience, roll-out of finance processes, system implementation experience, migration experience and global stakeholder management in a finance shared services environment.
  • Technically sound in all relevant Finance, Accounting, Controls and Compliance areas, with proven ability in understanding accounting standards (IFRS, Local GAAP etc) relevant for O2C functions.
  • Knowledge of SAP is mandatory.
  • Excellent commnication skills, proven stakeholder management abilities, detailed, strong analytical skills, people management, hands-on role and multi-tasking.
