job description

about the company :

Our client is a global offshore saving, insurance, and investment operations serving clients across Asia, Africa, middle east, Europe and the US. They have been in operations in the current setup since 2013 but have original operations dating back to the 90s.

about the role :

you would need to support multiple or designated stakeholders/ brokers from different regions. Your duties are a combination of guest relations and business partner alongside with in-country and remote support, organizing and planning and ensuring that operations are well run alongside with typical executive assistants and admin support. Key functions include:

  • Partner with HR to maintain office policies as necessary and organize office operations and procedures
  • Being dynamic and managing relationships with vendors, service providers, landlords.
  • Able to manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers, and office lease
  • Point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills and errands
  • Remain updated on technical and professional knowledge by attending educational workshops, joining professional associations, building networks with fellow professionals and reviewing of industry publications
  • Responsible for ensuring office financial objectives are met by preparing the annual budget for the office, planning the expenditures, analyzing variances and carrying out necessary corrections that may arise
  • Ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time

skills & experience:

  • Able to lead and motivate small staff teams
  • Candidate with working experience of minimum 9 -10 years
  • If you do come from a Banking/Financial/Investment background, it will be a plus point
  • Strong command of English language and business writing skills
  • Proven experience in remote management and support.
