about the job
- Monitoring and patching of systems, and proactively preventing incidents. Where incidents occur, the Oracle DBA will actively support the Problem management process to resolve and avoid further occurrences.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for daily operations.
- Database performance tuning
- Ensuring Oracle database platforms are running 24/7
skills and experience required
- Proven experience with Database Administration for Oracle 21c Server
- Good knowledge of Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Oracle Data Guard
- Expertise with backups, restores and recovery models.
- Demonstrable experience of Oracle Database migrations
- Experience with SQL Server/MQ and other middleware technologies across the stack will be considered a plus, but not required
- Malaysians that are willing to relocate to Laos are highly preferred
