OTC Lead

about the job

The incumbent will be reporting to the OTC Manager, responsible to oversight the end-to-end functions within the OTC team.

  • Manage end-to-end order to cash activities including orders &sales processing, sales recognition, accounts receivable, returns and refunds.
  • Ensure bonus payment to affiliates are paid timely on monthly basis.
  • Monitor and review all periodic reporting to ensure timely and accurate compliance on SLA and monthly KPI metrics are met.
  • Monitor overall accounts receivable ledger and sub-ledger reconciliations including bad debt provisions and write-offs to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Review journal entries posted by team members and monthly accounts reconciliations.
  • Focal point for internal and external audit matters and coordinate timely submission of required supporting documents and information to auditors.
  • Maintain a strong financial control environment and ensure timely escalation and remediation of any control deficiencies identified.
  • Review risk assessment and mitigation of operations with the Manager.
  • Work closely with Affiliates and IT Team in system migration and improvement.
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained at all times.
  • Implement and drive continuous processes improvement to promote efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide SME expertise to Affiliates, Management and any internal team pertaining to OTC functions.
  • Maintain high level of employee engagement, provide coaching and training to team members, manage daily work allocation and performance appraisal to all direct reports and recruitment of new team members.

Skills and experience required

You, as the aspiring candidate should possess:

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant Professional Qualification.
  • Preferably 7 years of working experience in the relevant field, with shared services exposure.
  • Technically strong in accounting concepts, frameworks and standards.
  • Proficient in English with excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Experience in managing a team with excellent leadership capabilities.
  • Experienced dealing with key and diversed stakeholders.
  • Experience in system migration and implementation will be an added advantage.
  • Committed and able to perform under pressure and tight datelines.
