We’re looking for a risk & audit manager Randstad Sourceright your typical day includes As risk & audit manager you are responsible for making business opportunities and risks insightful for management on a continuous basis. You also perform audits and report on the audit results to make an impact and support control improvements. This all to drive change and help business managers to realize their goals and ambitions. Your objective is to have a significant impact with the risk, control and audit activities you plan, execute and report upon, to support the strategy of the company. You will positively impact the cooperation within the organization and collaborate within the global risk & audit community by your contributions. As risk & audit manager you ensure open communications towards all regional leadership teams within Randstad Sourceright, the global organisation and your counterparts in other Randstad operating companies. You will report in a dual line to the Randstad Sourceright CFO and the BRA&F function key responsibilities for you as risk & audit manager are: Stakeholder engagement: Close cooperation with - and is sparring partner for all business leaders within the Randstad sourceright organization, regarding governance, risk management, internal controls, audits and fraud assessments and investigations; Manage in a matrix: build & maintain strong relationships and solid communication cadence with internal Randstad stakeholders: All business leaders and departments within Randstad Sourceright regional/country Risk & Audit managers, General Managers, CFOs. Group and local functional departments like: Finance, Legal, IT and HR Planning & reporting: the semi annual planning and independent and objective reporting on the risk and control situation for Randstad Sourceright to the Executive Board, coordination of the risk and control reporting cycle in line with the global risk and control reporting cycle; initiate/coordinate business risk & audit activities such as projects and audits, plan, execute and report on these projects and monitor local follow-up of findings and recommendations; define and align with management on the annual risk & audit plan. Control: facilitate, initiate and critically evaluate the set of internal controls and review the completeness of the controls against the framework; monitor & consolidate established control mechanisms across the various business lines within the organization recommend improvements and corrective actions to management, as well as appraising the adequacy of management plans resulting from the audits performed; support control owners in the event of changes to the internal control framework or adaptation of individual controls to local conditions. Critically review the controls and discuss suggestions for improvement with control owners or management as required; Governance & Risk: provide recommendations about the quality of existing governance, policies, procedures, systems and internal controls in relation to business processes and business opportunities and risks; conduct and facilitate, risk assessments and challenge that assessment, identify and test controls in place to mitigate identified risks and provide advice for further improvement; remediate specific issues by supporting the development of a solution for a specific gap and initiate the implementation of the solution; Audit: Plan and perform audits based on the annual risk & audit plan; support during client audits (clients/client’s auditor performs an audit at a Randstad location) to mitigate the risk of unsubstantiated claims; execute and report on special assignments, fraud assessments and investigations; perform special reviews (such as facilitation, advisory services), beyond risk and audit assurance services, as requested by management; facilitate execution of the internal and external audit activities for the ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications; Who are we looking for Your background academic degree in Economics / Business Administration or IT equivalent, preferably combined with a CISA/CISSP and / or CPA, CIA background or having the ambition to gain such a credential. The business risk & audit (BR&AF) function The business risk and audit function provides assurance and advice to the Executive Board and the Audit Committee on Randstad Group’s risk management, control and governance processes. Therefore the department facilitates in setting governance standards and provides advice on internal control improvements, conducts audits, special investigations and assignments worldwide on request of the Executive Board and Audit Committee. This responsibility includes the quarterly reporting based on the internal control self assessments; discussing internal control weaknesses and an analysis of the key risks reported throughout the company's management structure. This also substantiates the group's in-control startments. The global function consists of team members dispersed over the 39 countries over 4 continents where randstad is active. The team is organized in a matrix consisting of geographical regional and technical professional practice (Governance & Control, Risk & Audit and Fraud).
