About the job
To manage and effectively lead the team of Legal Counsels in providing legal services to the Management and Business Units in the group of companies. To provide comprehensive legal support in a timely manner within Mergers & Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, Financing, Review of Vendor, Service Provider and B2B Contracts, General Corporate/Commercial Transactions, Dispute Resolution Management. Primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external counsel in relation to external legal advice and its interpretation accordingly.

About the manager/team
To report directly to the Group General Counsel and you will be working alongside a team of 6 people within legal function.

Qualifications/ skills
A degree in Law (LL.B) and admitted to the Malaysian BAR with 15 years of Post-Qualified Experience. Excellent track record as in-house legal counsel and/or in private practice. Preferably 10 years of experience within a leadership position. Extensive corporate and commercial legal experience ideally with cross border transactional exposure.
