Our client is a leading multinational within the healthcare industry. They have set up their APAC Accounting Shared Services in Petaling Jaya, Selangor and is currently on the look out for a P2P Team Lead, specialising within the travel & expense (T&E) and related customer solution tasks, as part of their SSC expansion.

about the job

Reporting into the P2P Tower Manager, the P2P Team Lead is part of the Travel, Expense, Corporate Card and Customer Solutions function of the P2P team. You will deliver excellent technical and non-technical support for P2P & T&E related processes, support for incoming queries, claim processing and issues related to P2P /T&E.

  • Monitor, track and report compliance of Global Travel Expense Corporate Credit Card policy, provide information on opportunities for cost savings to internal clients, implement regional processes, routines and metrics to improve associate compliance and utilization of the policy.
  • Lead the preparation of reports, documentation and period-end-delivery for both internal and external purpose.
  • Create and maintain positive relations and cooperation with the internal and external SSC customers and local counterparts as well as cooperation with other teams.
  • Deliver appropriate leadership and people management activities to manage the team supporting APAC for the travel and expense processing and customer solutions.
  • Drive standardization and continuous improvement, deliver efficiency and quality improvements
  • Ensure that there is effective end user support and handle service escalations quickly when they arise
  • Oversee to ensure all queries are properly recorded, resolved and/or escalated to the proper support team members.
  • Coordinate with IT and Business Systems teams for system access, maintenance and product upgrades, respond to client service problems and questions by contacting vendors or researching solutions, troubleshoot day-to-day issues.
  • Monitor KPI’s to ensure team delivers the required services and quality.
  • Ensure application of agreed control procedures and actively support to deliver SOX certification

Skills and experience required

The aspiring candidate should possess:

  • An Accounting/Finance degree or equivalent in relevant fields, with at least 7 years of relevant P2P/T&E experience within Accounting Shared Services.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Exposure in managing projects & migrations will be required, to assist in multiple projects within the P2P team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Dedicated, attention to details and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong team player with leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under time pressure.
