about the company

Our client is a professional business services provider company with a strong global presence in Malaysia. They are based in Q Sentral. Right now, they are looking for a Payroll Manager to join their family.

about the role

This is a Payroll Manager position that reports to the General Manager. Our client is looking for someone who can support this function independently.

duties

  • Responsible for development and execution of new client project plans; sets timelines based on service level agreements, and monitors the progress through completion
  • Accurately processes payroll, bonuses, commissions, allowances and all aspects of payment for each client company on the established payroll cycle
  • Conducts proactive client engagements to ensure client actions are timely and services are understood and accurately implemented
  • Assist in setting up Standard Operating Procedure, workflow, and monthly processes.
  • Lead a payroll team to ensure payroll implementation for clients to be carried out effectively and efficiency
  • Conduct checking on proposed payroll reports to ensure quality in reports before being submitted to clients for verification
  • Provide HR advisory services to the clients
  • Review, audit and control the flow of information to various areas as required

skills & experience

  • Minimum 10 years working experience in payroll, preferably in an outsourcing environment or HR shared service operations with 5 years’ experience managing a team
  • Good knowledge on the whole payroll cycle as processing, EPF, Socso, PCB, HRDF Fund and Zakat contribution and submission
  • Good customer service orientation and strong team player
  • Possess strong management and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience in payroll consulting, outsourcing and shared service
