about the role
as a backend engineer, you are asked to write awesome code to help build, improve and extend a leading software solution for advanced manufacturing. This position doesn't expect you to just code, you are also encouraged to propose new innovative ideas and define the technical approach to challenging problems.
about the job
- developing and designing software applications in accordance with given specifications
- testing, commissioning and debugging of software applications
- collaborating with project team members on identifying issues in the software design
- complying to good software design and development practice
- producing technical reports, design analysis and documentation in support of the design
- identifying and producing suitable concepts that meets the customer requirements
- documenting full software development phase and monitoring systems

knowledge, skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- 1-3 years of software development experience in an agile environment
- applications development experience in C#.Net, ASP.Net MVC, T-SQL, Git, JavaScript, Angular and SQL SSRS
- proficient in object oriented programming (OOP)
- experience in writing unit test is an added advantage
- ability to work independently and is able to meet given deadlines
- good problem solving and analytical skills
- possess own transport (traveling to client’s site may be required time to time)
