The role will serve as that public face of the company's commitment to culture, people, and a challenging career path. Our Head of People Operations will ensure that we attracts, recruits, and retains top talent, while advocating for our values-based approach to culture and development.
The role is a key member of the management team and will be an integral contributor to the company's long term strategic growth plan.
- Partners with the department head to understand and execute the organization's People and Talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Drive company culture and values through organizing company-wide activities.
- Identify, design and implement strategies and opportunities across various aspects of the People function (employer branding, hiring, onboarding, developing, motivating and organizing work) in order to showcase the company as a top place to work.
- Ensure job descriptions are up to date, inline with the company culture, and aligned with job expectations.
- Develop training and performance management programs to help ensure employees are on course to level up.
- Create compensation structures for employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeping the strategy up to date.
- Support current and future business growth through the development of employees through individual career plans.
- Help to resolve employee issues quickly with positive outcomes.
- Ensure the organization’s compliance with local employment acts.
- Use performance management tools to provide guidance, feedback and career growth opportunities to the team.
- Maintain company organizational charts and employee directory.
- Partner with management to ensure strategic People Operations goals are aligned with business initiatives.
- Maintain policies and procedures for hiring, training, compensation, employee benefits, employment acts and personnel information. Communicate changes and deadlines to staff.
- Conduct performance and salary reviews.
- Facilitate and manage employee benefits eligibility and enrolment.
- Maximize the usage of our HR Software (Brio HR) is up to date.
- Encourage and guide company employees to stay up to date with all HR.
- Administrative requirements.
- To work with management on special people-projects from time-to-time.

The People Operations Manager is responsible for advocating and living company’ values and shaping the culture. Reporting to the CEO, Head of People Ops is a dynamic and passionate leader who is responsible for employee experience, payroll, benefits, recruiting, and compliance.
skills & experience required
You are able to work with one of the fast moving and global growing organizations.
- Relevant Degree OR experience in Human Resource & Business Administration.
- Ability to maintain appropriate work and personal boundaries while preserving company culture.
- People oriented and results driven.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and People Operations best practice.
