Job Summary:
The PHP Manager will oversee the development and maintenance of PHP-based web applications, ensuring that they meet functional requirements and are delivered on time and within budget. The successful candidate will manage a team of PHP developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the applications meet the company's standards for performance, security, and scalability.

• Build, manage and mentor a team of PHP developers, providing guidance on best practices, coding standards, and software design principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to ensure that the web applications meet functional and business requirements.
• Develop and maintain PHP-based web applications, ensuring that they are scalable, secure, and performant.
• Work with the team to identify and address technical debt, ensuring that the codebase is maintainable and efficient.
• Ensure that the development team follows established coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure that the codebase is of high quality and adheres to established standards.
• Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Manage the deployment process, ensuring that updates are delivered on time and with minimal disruption to users.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest PHP frameworks, tools, and best practices.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in developing PHP-based web applications.
• At least 2 years of experience in managing a team of PHP developers.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL and related technologies
• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, CakePHP, or CodeIgniter
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of web development best practices, including security and performance optimization.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experienced with front-end frameworks such as Vue, React or Angular
• Experience on developing CI/CD pipelines
