Our client is one of the leading players, being a multinational company specializing in technology products and services. They are currently in the midst of setting up an Accounting Shared Services in Malaysia, to support their Asia Pacific business.

about the job

The incumbent will report to the Head of Shared Services to deliver on the business process design, testing, data conversion, training, deployment activities as the company goes through a rapid finance transformation for its shared services set up (supporting across PTP/OTC/RTR).

  • Support APAC SSC migration and play role as project manager.
  • Identify best practices and standardize & implement across APAC SSC
  • Re-engineering, optimize and strengthen the business processes
  • Work with business and finance leaders to define risk mitigation action plans to resolve processes gaps
  • Overseeing and tracking business processes through KPIs
  • Ensure the business operations are efficient and undertake productivity initiatives
  • Identify measurements and quantify proposed process improvements
  • Update on project status to stakeholders
  • Give support to the business with the processes implemented being the main contact between business and IT.

Skills and experience required

The aspiring candidate should possess:

  • An Accounting/Finance degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience in shared services.
  • Experience in project management, with shared services & migration experience.
  • Solid working experience in SAP
  • Knowledge of standard methodologies like Lean Six Sigma is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Dedicated, attention to details and strong analytical skills.
  • Logical thinking with creative problem-solving ability
  • Ability to translate complex business issues into smaller and manageable issues
  • Ability to work under time pressure.
