about the job

Overseeing the PTP operations and will be working closely with clients across Europe and Asia Pacific in payment and invoices activities & process improvement project.

  • Manage P2P processes and resource planning to ensure accounts payable transactions are processed within agreed timelines.
  • Meet account payable operations standard by achieving month end closing within stipulated deadline.
  • Ensure invoices process meet the SLA – invoice accuracy and meet deadline.
  • Manage the quantitative and qualitative aspect of registering / posted invoices to ensure timely posting of invoice to avoid any delay of payment
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, regular monitoring of team performance and report on metrics
  • Able to improve customer-service standards, resolving problems promptly with AP team and invoice processing unit.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for team, who would be able to provide advice, guidance and coaching, and identify training needs.
  • Actively support an environment of continuous improvement and change management that covers workflow, processes and procedures.
  • To prepare weekly / monthly reporting as required for management review.

Skills and experience required

  • At least a Degree or Professional Certification in Finance/Accounting.
  • At least 4 years working experience in PTP functions with solid experience in dealing with high volume of invoices process.
  • Shared Service Centre (SSC) working experience would be an added advantage
  • Result-oriented with high degree of self-motivation.
  • Strong leadership skills in leading a team
  • Strong accuracy skills and attention to details
  • Good analytical thinking and communication skills
