about the company

Your future employer is a reputable organisation within the property and construction sector. They have multiple acres of land across Malaysia. Despite the current economic situation, they persist in their investment for the future growth in the next 10 years.

about the role

You will be under mentorship of a Director who manages the contract and procurement department. You will also be tasked to manage a team of 5 in the procurement process. With your extensive knowledge on sourcing and setting up SOP, you will be having a good exposure within the team.

duties

  • Spearhead the purchasing process from selecting suppliers to ensuring stock optimization, as well as provide guidance on sourcing and procurement processes.
  • Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
  • Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.

skills & experience required

  • Bachelor Degree in Quantity Survey or relevant disciplines
  • Proven in supply chain opperation
  • Leadership and motivation experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
