about the role ::
- You may be required to relocate to be based nearer to the client, relocation allowances is provided.
- You will need to oversee and handle the end of end procurement process.
- You are required to do comprehensive sourcing and negotiation with vendors.
- You have to evaluate vendor performance based on various criteria set by the organisation.
- You have to perform weekly and monthly reporting based on spending.
- You will need to coordinate and liaise with different internal stakeholders on end user requirements and procurement needs.
about the team ::
You will be directly reporting to the Head of Procurement for the company. You will have 2 other direct reporting executives under you. The whole procurement department comprises 10-12 team members.
skills and experience ::
- You have 5+ years of work experience in Procurement related roles coming from paper products industry or light manufacturing sectors.
- You have extensive experience in contract management and negotiation with vendors.
- You are great at people management and have outstanding communication skills. Able to manage stakeholders internally and externally.
- You possess a strong attention to detail and are someone who is meticulous and organised at work.
- You are good with planning and organising your work well.
