We are currently looking for a Product Development Executive/Senior Executive for a leading player in the Apparel Manufacturing & Distrbution Industry for their expansion. This company has a legacy of more than 50 years in the world. This position requires your urgent attention.

- Based in Kuala Lumpur
the role
- Facilitate the product development process from concept to implementation and ongoing monitoring.
- Conduct market surveys, test marketing, and product testing to gather relevant data and insights.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure product development aligns with project goals.
- Prepare preliminary and feasibility studies to assess the viability and success potential of new products.
- Conduct product impression trials and ensure efficacy and safety testing are completed as necessary.
- Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs to ensure new products are registered and approved by relevant authorities.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure products meet specified standards and specifications.
- Provide information to Corporate Communication for the development of product packaging.
- Propose forecasts and budgets for new products based on research and development data.
- Prepare introductory materials and presentations to support new product launches.
- Monitor the performance of newly launched products and prepare reviews to assess success and areas for improvement.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior.
the experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant discipline.
- Proficiency in both Mandarin as this role requires to to serve a lot of Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Possesses at least 1 year of experience in product development, ine the apparel/garment or beauty/personal care products (Skin Care, Personal Care) sectors.
- • Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) is an added advantage.
