We are looking for Production Engineer specialized in manufacturing environment. Our client is a public listed company in Malaysia. They are a global leader of manufacturer for copper rod, wire & strip with over 40 years of history and successfully built an enviable reputation in the market.

• Reporting to: Production Manager
• Team size : 14
• Regions covered : Malaysia
• Excellent remuneration package

Job Description:

• Responsible for controlling and monitoring the production process
• Daily analysis of production data of each production process and identify deviation in the process.
• Make sure there is no deviation found in the process which will have an impact on scrap and efficiency.
• Ensure set process parameters are followed in all production process.
• All production process step to be observed and to identify method for improvement.
• Make sure production process is smooth to avoid quality and output problem.
• Conduct detail investigation when deviation is found in the process or product.
• Identify possible root cause of failure and coordinate
• Validate each new production process or method in order to achieve required output and efficiency.
• Manage the employees to achieve maximum efficiency.
• Any other adhoc duties.

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years experiences as a Production Engineer from Copper/Metal/Steel background
• Candidate from Copper background will be added advantages
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent
• Willing to work in shift basis is a must
