about the company

Randstad is partnering with a MNC company that specializes in food manufacturing. The company is expanding their operation and looking for production planner to be part of their team.

about the team

Your role is an individual contributor and you will be working closely with the production, purchasing sales & marketing team.

duties and responsibility

  • Plan production schedule (including material planning) to meet delivery schedule of sales order.
  • Ensure smooth operations throughout the production and distribution life of a given products by monitoring and maintaining an efficient inventory.
  • Liaises with sales and marketing division to determine customer requirements.
  • Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data while performing calculations to determine manufacturing processes.
  • Work with warehouse, purchasing personnel to help maintain accurate, perpetual inventories.
  • Plan, monitor and maintain material availability to ensure time availability of materials and packaging according to the plan schedule.

skill/experience

  • Minimum 2-4 years working experience in production planning and material planning.
  • Diploma / Degree in Business study / Administration / Management or equivalent.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft application such as words, excel, power point & etc.).
  • Organizational and planning abilities, Analytical, detail oriented, fast decision maker, problem solving, big picture view, mathematics and statistics skills are essential.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
