Randstad is partnering with an international company that specializes in die casting and sheet metal manufacturing. The company is going through a rapid growth and looking to expand their supply chain team. The company is looking for a Production Planning & Control Manager to be part of their growth strategy.
duties and responsibility:
- Ensure that the daily, weekly and monthly scheduling of production requirements balance load while maintaining on-time delivery.
- Communicate production schedule status and production issues that could have an adverse effect on completion dates.
- Communicate and manage the coordination of material movement within the organisation to the main production schedule and flow of material through the factory.
- Expedite material releases & production schedules to communicate the changing needs of the manufacturing focus factory.
- Monitor and follow up closely on production performance and expedite lots to ensure shipments to customers are on time.
- Monitor the WIP accuracy and WIP level of the plant.
- Must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Engineering/Administration/Accounting or any other related studies
- At least 8-10 Year(s) of working experience in manufacturing field, specifically on production planning or material planning
- experience working in heavy manufacturing industry will be added advantage
- Prior experience managing a team of production planner is required for this role
