They are renowned and financially strong, they gained good reputation on their projects completed and have many ongoing and upcoming projects secured. Currently, they are looking for Project Director to oversee their overall construction projects. The position will be based in their HQ in Klang Valley.
about the job
... - To manage the overall construction projects, managing the teams, project progress, profitability, cash flow, billing and collections, claims approval, client management etc.
- Strategic planning for the business, managing the existing order book and tendering of new projects.
- Strategies and implementing effective talent acquisition processes while ensuring continuous talent development initiatives to support the company's growth and objectives.
- As the point of escalation, ensures that critical issues, decisions, and resource allocations are effectively managed and resolved to keep construction projects on track and aligned with company objectives.
- To oversee the teams, the sub contractors, consultants and other stakeholders involved in the business, to reach the quality standards and adhere to legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations of all the projects.

You will be overseeing the overall operations of the construction projects, with the company size of around 100 employees. The hiring company fosters a collaborative and empowering environment, providing the necessary resources, direction, and encouragement to fuel the growth and success of the company.
skills and experience required
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 20 years experience. Relevant experiences in construction of civil & infrastructure (water engineering) projects.
- Strong communication skills and leadership qualities.
