about the job
- Overseeing the daily operations at solar project sites, which includes managing construction schedules and supervising work progress.
- Collaborating closely with the design and procurement teams to guarantee the timely availability of materials and equipment at the project site.
- Performing thorough quality assessments and inspections to verify that installations align with engineering and safety standards.
- Addressing technical challenges and swiftly resolving any issues that may arise during project execution.
- Coordinating with external stakeholders, such as local authorities and utility companies, to secure the necessary permits and approvals.
- Continuously monitoring project advancement and providing regular progress reports to the Project Manager.
- Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on-site to safeguard all personnel and assets.
- Assisting in the execution of testing and commissioning activities as part of project finalization.
about the manager/team
As the construction industry is warming up again, our clients are looking to add to their team to feed the needs of their new projects. These are big companies with teams of good sizes and proper support. You will be reporting to the Project Manager working alongside a strong team of project engineers.
skills and experience required
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Prior work experience in project management or construction, with a preference for candidates who have a background in the solar sector.
- Proficiency in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and electrical installations.
- Demonstrated capabilities in organization and effective communication.
