about the role

• Full authority and responsibility to execute, plan and control all works in the project
• Ensure completion of projects within the time frame and budget with quality
• Conduct regular reviews on project and sub contractor performance, and initiate preventiate/ remedial actions to maintain project on schedule
• Responsible for timely reporting and all contractual decision such as Variation Orders and Extension of Time
• To lead, guide, counsel, motivate and develop all subordinates
• Liaise with all relevant government agencies and statutory bodies in relation to all related matters, ensure timely compliance with all statutory and legal requirements

about the manager/ team

You will be reporting to the CEO of the company. The CEO will act as your mentor and be the key person to train you in the reporting requirements to make you successful. Overall, they would like to set you up for a long term career development with the organisation.

skills and experience required

• Possess Degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines with a minimum of 7 years relevant experiences in construction
• Must be able to handle projects with pressure
• Capable of handling contracts administration, construction claims, legal and contractual issues
• Team players with good leadership skills that is highly motivated and performance driven
• Exceptional analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
