about the company
our client was founded back in 2011 as an international joint-venture. The management team has been in the glove of former business for over 10 years now. They are big on manufacturing formers for the medical glove industry. Gloves produced with their formers are distributed to more than 300 customers in 80 countries.

Perform inventory and administrative tasks like preparing and forwarding invoices, updating databases, filing, and organizing documents for accounts. They also provide additional administrative support for team members as needed.


about the job

Procurement/Purchasing

  • Responsible for non-commodity purchases, general procurement, and manage inventory of supplies and materials to make purchases when needed.
  • Responsible for source/evaluate vendor's quotation, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and overseas vendors.
  • Responsible for processing end-to-end purchasing from the preparation of price evaluation, raise purchasing orders, follow up with a delivery timeline, address supply, quality, service, and invoicing issues with vendors.
  • Provide periodic reporting to the management of purchasing, controls, and processes accordingly.
  • Assess supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices; ensure all the criteria’s are met according to the company’s requirements and expectation.
  • Monitor company purchases, deliveries, and budget to determine the quality of goods to meet performance demands.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director for the procurement of critical raw material supply and the delivery schedule.

Logistics

  • To liaise, follow up, and resolve detail/ status with the supplier, custom officer, forwarding agent, and others who are involved in the vessel booking/ custom clearance matters for incoming or outgoing delivery/shipment.
  • Application for exemption of SST to MIDA.
  • Application of import permits for raw material.

Administration

  • Maintaining inventory and re-order levels for certain expensive production items.
  • Maintain, control, and issue company uniforms, safety shoes, company stationery.
