about the job
- Responsible for negotiation, follow up on all pre and post contracts management including issuance of official letter, addendum, draft of LOA and ensure every single deal/contract is in favour to company and project.
- Responsible for overall procurement of relevant raw & building materials, subcontracting works.
- Source of reliable suppliers & contractors and to ensure project cost within budget and/or to maximise project savings and/or profits.
- Verify the purchase requisitions by reviewing cost comparison report, clarifying unclear items, recommend alternatives or substitutes, propose value engineering, etc.
- Responsible for negotiation, follow up on all pre and post contracts management and to ensure every single deal/contract is in favour to company and project.
- Follow up and look into overall administrative matters of various contracts and subcontract works including recommendation of payments, variation order certificates, etc.
about the manager/team
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Purchasing Manager and work along with the energetic of the 2 purchasing executives.
skills and experience required
- Minimum of a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or relevant.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships.
- Open for 5.5 days work (Saturday half day work from home).
