about the job:
as the QA/QC manager for the semiconductor plant construction project, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the highest standards of quality throughout the construction process. your responsibilities will include:
- establishing, implementing, and maintaining the quality system in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
- identifying and assessing quality issues, proposing effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
- overseeing the execution of corrective and preventive actions to address quality concerns.
- organizing and conducting quality audits.
- leading the on-site QAQC team.
- developing and executing a comprehensive quality assurance plan based on contract specifications and the company’s quality management system.
- ensuring the project site strictly adheres to quality assurance statements, with work performance aligning with these statements, and executing quality control test plans as per specifications and the company’s quality management system.
- communicating with the client’s representative on all matters related to quality.
- evaluating subcontractor quality systems and providing guidance for improvement.
- issuing non-compliance work reports and overseeing their rectification.
- chairing/attending project quality and management meetings with the QAQC team, client, and contractor.
- ensuring all technical documents related to site quality control are current and appropriately filed for easy retrieval.
- delivering relevant training on QAQC & ISO to the staff.
to be successful in this role, you should:
- hold a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
- possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in QAQC activities for construction works.
- be competent in management reporting and QAQC systems.
- have experience and knowledge in ISO 9001:2015.
- demonstrate a high level of integrity, drive, and a result-oriented mindset.
- be able to prioritize and work effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
- exhibit the ability to multitask, managing several projects simultaneously.
- be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
